November is Family Violence Prevention Month - Resources for Community Members
November is Family Violence Prevention Month,
and ADVAS wants you to do 3 things that will make a difference this month:
1) Be a safe support. Be available to listen, and recognize that your role as a support is to love your family member or friend. Refrain from offering solutions or opinions.
2) Learn. There are a number of programs offered in Southern Alberta this month, and some great podcasts, books, other resources available (list below of some resources, and we will add to this as the month goes on)
3) Donate.
